You are always in control of what you list and how long it stays live. This Cancellation Policy explains how you can stop, hide, or remove anything you have posted or subscribed to on The Pataudi.
1. Cancelling a free listing
- Go to Dashboard → My Listings.
- Click the three-dot menu on the listing → Delete or Mark as Sold.
- The listing disappears from public search within one minute. There is no fee for cancelling a free listing.
2. Cancelling a boosted / featured listing
A boost is a one-time slot with a fixed duration (for example, 7 or 30 days). You can stop showing the listing at any time, but:
- The paid slot is not refundable once it goes live — it is a marketing spend, similar to running an ad.
- You can still keep the free version of the listing after the boost ends, at no extra cost.
- If your boost was never activated because of a technical failure on our side, we either activate it again or refund it in full.
3. Cancelling a subscription plan
- Head to Dashboard → Transactions and choose Cancel Plan.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for — you keep all remaining credits until then.
- Auto-renewal stops immediately, so no further charge is made.
- Cancelling within the first 48 hours (and without having used any plan benefit) qualifies for a full refund — see the Refund Policy.
4. Cancellation by us
We may cancel or remove a listing (with a note explaining why) when it:
- Belongs to a banned category (weapons, adult services, wildlife, counterfeit goods, illegal substances, etc.).
- Uses fake photos, stolen photos, or misleading pricing.
- Puts a QR / UPI code inside the listing image to bypass our unlock flow.
- Repeatedly duplicates the same offer across categories or cities.
You will get one email explaining what needs to change before you can repost. Repeated violations may lead to an account-level cancellation.
5. Deleting your account
You can request a full account cancellation any time. Write to sales@thepataudi.com from your registered email. Deletion is permanent — your listings, credits, and transaction history are removed after a short 7-day grace window that lets you undo the request.
